Respecting Gabriel’s Partey
It’s very rare that pundits have anything nice to say about The Arsenal and our players.
It’s as rare as rocking horse excrement that ex United player pundits have anything nice to say about The Arsenal and our players, but after Monday night’s performance, the unthinkable happened and Red Pundits FC had to hold back their own vomit and praise some Arsenal players.
Gary Neville, reading Fergie’s Law at Sky Sports College:
“Arsenal’s defensive performance has been brilliant, from front to back but the back three have been good”
“Gabriel has been fantastic, so far I’d say he’s been the best player on the pitch, for me”
“He’s won the day, and deservedly so”
Paul ‘Miserable Sod’ Scholes;
“You don’t see many players like Partey these days”
“He’s an all-round midfielder”
“You don’t see many players like that these days. Midfielders are attacking midfielders or holding midfielders, but a midfield player’s job is to do everything. You have to contribute with everything and today he did a brilliant job in all departments.”
But true to form, Roy ‘You know Santa isn’t real’ Keane, just couldn’t help himself;
Arsenal bossed the midfield, deserved the 3 points and further ran Ole off the road, but all Roy had to say was;
“They didn’t show him respect when they called him by his name, Mikel,’”
“He’s the manager, the boss, the gaffer. That’s respect.”
“Not Mikel, he’s not his mate.”
Roy, mate, it’s 2020, Fergie is no longer barking orders, we have moved on, it’s called mutual respect, get over it.
