Jack Wilshere – #prouddad
Twitter was taken over for a couple of days this week with the arrival of Jack Wilshere’s son; Archie Wilshere.
“The proudest day of my life today! Archie Jack Wilshere was born at 15.06 uk time and weighed 7lb 11oz. I am the happiest man in the world!” tweeted Wilshere, evidently elated at becoming a Father.
Jack posted a picture with his new son, which had more than a passing resemblance to David Beckham’s pose with his first-born. Another national hero in the making perhaps?
Woijech Szczesny – #goingnowhere
It seems that Barcelona just can’t get enough of Arsenal stars. Star of the season so far ,Woijech Szczesny, is the latest to be linked with a move to Nou Camp.
Thankfully he hasn’t taken the ‘silent Cesc’ route, instead tweeting on the rumours: “Please continue the “Szczesny to Barcelona” rumours. Makes me laugh everytime I read it 🙂 haha.”
At least somebody is able to laugh at such fantasies. With the ever-growing number of players hitting the Emirates exits, Arsenal fans must wince a little every time such a rumour surfaces. Especially when it involves Barcelona or the dreaded Manchester City.
Jack Wilshere – #foreveragooner
Despite what must be a hectic time for young Wilshere, balancing his rehabilitation from injury with the arrival of his first child, he hasn’t forgotten his Gooner roots.
While watching his team mates again struggle without him, this time against Spurs, Jack tweeted: “Glen Hoddle is the most biased pundit around….handball is handball does not matter where the right back is!!!!!!!!!”
Never afraid to have a public dig at Arsenal’s bitter rivals, it is just a shame that Wilshere was deprived the opportunity to make a physical impact in the recent derby.
