In the news today:

Metro have emerged with a nice story today, stating that Arsenal will bid ₤6m for Anderlecht midfield player, Lucas Biglia ‘before the end of the month.’

“I think I have ended my cycle at Anderlecht and I want to do something new,” Biglia told Het Nieuwsblad.

“Sometimes I feel I have to do more because I am playing in Belgium. I am aware that it would be easier if I was playing in a different league,” Biglia added.

Biglia is an Argentine international and similar to the likes of Gilberto Silva in his style of play. He’s robust and combative, and could bring some much needed steel to the Arsenal midfield.

I hope it is true, he has a real fighter spirit about him, can shield the ball well and has an eye for a pass with great interception and battling. he is also much faster than Song!

He is like who? Gilberto Da Silva? Get him with no questions asked.
Has everyone forgotten who was the last player to leave us in peril?
Gilberto, that is who. People go on about Song being class and hardworking
but forget that he is the cause of most defensive problems. Since his takeover
of that DM our defence is the most unreliable even if you have Vermaellen and Djourou
as both CBs. That Argie would be godsent so we dont have to rely on Song

He's not good enough to be an arsenal player, good technique but his only strenght is easy passing in midfield, he's not fast, no dribbling skills, no killer pass, doesn't score (maybe 3 in 7 seasons). Denilson type but less good. He also needs an operation on his shoulder. I hope he's not coming.
