Arsene Wenger’s Halloween XI

Since beginning the journey to become Arsenal’s most successful manager in it’s 126 year history, Arsene Wenger has changed not only the face of North London, but English football as a whole.

Bringing with him the philosophy that the right way to run a football club is to produce world class players rather than buy them.

But while Nicolas Anelka, Cesc Fabregas, Ashley Cole and a certain Monsieur Henry are but four of the ever growing list of impressive names on Wenger’s books, just what about those players who filled Gooners hearts with horror?

Let’s take a look at a truly ghastly line up, featuring eleven of the scariest souls to sodden an Arsenal pitch.

Goalkeeper : Manuel Almunia

Right Back : Emmanuel Eboue

Centre Back : Sebastien Squillaci

Centre Back : Mikael Silvestre

Left Back : Armand Traore

Right Midfield : Jermaine Pennant

Centre Midfield : Amaury Bischoff

Centre Midfield : Mark Randall

Left Midfield : Alberto Mendez

Striker : Francis Jeffers

Striker : Julio Baptista

While some of these choices will undoubtedly cause a stir of controversy and opinion, I think I’m safe in saying that this is a seriously scary Arsene Wenger XI. So next time you moan and groan at the sight of Aaron Ramsey yet again misplacing a simple pass, just remember how much worse it could really be…

Is this trying to cheer us up,its not the fault of Ramsey that he is played out of position, hopefully he will be better in the central role he was bought for,This is just another example of Mr Wenger playing players out of position to see if they can be good enough so he does not need to spend.Every year he plays players out of position because he has to although this year he could have played Walcot so Im confused even more.
Yep every year we have to wait for the new team to gel, last year the year before etc etc,it is ridiculous and I am at the end of my tether, its Killing me.Last years panick buys were given time and they did well towards the second half of the season,so what do our elustrious leaders do then.THEY SELL THEM again. Now we wil have to wait again untill they get to know each other all over again and then it will be to late to win anything again.Fantastic we are.No we are not people and thats the truth so if you are willing to put up with this for the future do nothing,if your not then throw your RVP merchandise like scarves hats and shirts we all have bought at the pitch this weekend and those who go when he comes to try and score against us at the Emirates do the same thing, throw the crap away at the pitch. What do you say.Let our club know we are not prepared to continue selling our best players every year, its killing us.

Eboue was a great right back, far from a horror show. He was voted top RB in the 2006 champs league – went downhill when he was played as a midfielder

I personally think that luzhny and vivas were every bit as bad as eboue. and how any worst team cannot include arsenal legends such as guillame warmuz, david grondin, igor stepanovs, stathos tavliridis, guy demel, tomas danilviscious, kaba diawara and stefan malz god only know. if anyone thibks that almunia was worse than richard wright i just dont know.

Right back Justin Hoyte is scarier than Eboue.
The list serves for a good laugh, I enjoyed it.
