Arsenal’s bid for Hazard all but over

It appears that Arsenal may well have missed out on long-term target, Eden Hazard.

The Belgian, according to reports, is set to join Real Madrid having signed a pre-contract agreement with Jose Mourinho’s side.

Madrid are looking to wrestle the European dominance away from fierce rivals Barcelona this year after several years in the shadow of the Catalans, and it will be hoped that Hazard can be a large part of their glamorous attacking options.

Zinedine Zidane, Real’s Director of Football and former player, is said to have played a large part in constructing the deal say Gazzetta dello Sport.
