Vote: Which area is the priority for improvement

So far Arsenal have played two competitive games, and kept two clean sheets. Some might say this is argument that Arsenal actually have a decent goalkeeper and an adequate defence. With just one goal in those two games, others might suggest that Arsenal need a striker pretty urgently.

Critics say that Arsenal must improve that defence, and that they’re are yet to be tested while the other side of the coin inclines that current forwards are just ‘stuttering’.

If Arsenal were to buy one more player, for one more position, what is your priority?

It is impossible to just choose One Player in one area as being the most important. We (Arsenal) actually need as an absolute minimum,FIVE additional Players maybe SIX,if we are to challenge for honours this season, and for future seasons,
One Left Back preferably Leighton Baines
One Central Defender (possibly two) Jagleika,Cahill
One Defensive Midfielder,Nigel De Jong or Joey Barton (yes,Joey Barton)
    One Creaive Midfielder,Mata,
    One Striker,Benzema,
This is not wishful thinking on my part, but a carefully thought out exercise of our urgent requirements.
Of course the cost would be high, approximately 90 Million.
But i believe we have the money,Sales of Clichy,Fabregas,Eboue,J.E.T. Hopefully Nasri and Bentender, plus the money we already had for Transfers,we can afford it,or put another way,we cannot afford not to do it.
Failure to improve the Squad NOW,with Quality Players, will prove to be Catastrophic.I am not being alarmist, the present Squad,is possibly the weakest of Wenger's tenure.Failure to qualify for the C.L.Group Stages, will be very costly, and if we fail to finish in the top four this Season, will be even costlier.Wenger should get away from the idea that he is Spending money,he should realise he is INVESTING Money.Let him take a leaf out of S.A.F.'s Book,he identifies the Players he wants to the Board, and informs them that without these additions,M.U.F.C. will not continue to be sucessfull. Then it is the Boards job to finance it,NOT the Managers.Come on Arsene,do not let our Club slip back into mediocrity, recreate the Invicibles.

Is Simple maths: fabregas £35mil/ Nasri/ £22mil/ Eboue £3/ clichy £13 / JET £1.5 Mil – plus £40 mil of transfer Kitty = £114 mil in the bank At least

Minus players Bought: Gervino £13mil/ Carl jenkinson £3 / AOC £12 = £86 mil still in the bank

We still have at least £80 or so miil in the bank/ My proposal for Mr Wenger:

Jags £13 Mil/ Scott Dan £8 mil/ Parker £8 Mil/ and the best of the lot Sneijder £30 – £40 mil – extremelly solid team right balance of Youth and experience and for Wenger Still money in the bank – and thats with out the sales of Almunia/ Bentner/

And have enough money to bring in another striker or two – Come on Wenger listen to the fans for once

FOR YOU GUYS IS SO SIMPLE THAT IT MAKES ME BELIEVE THAT WE LEAVE IN A FOOTBALL MANEGER WORLD.
WHO TOLD YOU GUYS THAT BENZEMA OR Sneijder WANTS TO PLAY FOR ARSENAL OR INTER AND MADRID WANT TO SELL THEIR PLAYER? EVERTON MAY WANT TO SELL BUT WHO TOLD YOU GUYS THAT THE PRICE IS 13 MIL? WHAT IF IS 19 MIL, IT IS WORTH IT? I´M AN ARSENAL FAN FOR A LONG TIME AND A FOOTBALL FAN BUT IN REAL LIFE IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. AND WHAT GARANTEES U THAT IF WE BUY THOSE PLAYERS WE WILL WIN? YOU GUYS LEAVE IN A DIFFERENT WORLD, A WORLD OF FANTASY.

Cesar, is not football manager mate, in football there is transfers – in and out of clubs – simple, a club likes a player they make an enquiry the other club then decides on whether to listen or not and then the player decides is not football manager. is real football life.

Have you ever heard sneijder saying he does not want to play for us?? Everton are in financial trouble as has been heard by their own chairman – £13mil is not a massive price.

But ill give you at least the part that it might not guarantee us a trophy just to buy top stars, but it does help us along, mix of youth already at the club with some experience heads would balance the team very well, specially after loosing two of our first team players.

Colombo, i heard sneijder say anything, but a player like Nasri, Fabregas, even clichy saying
that they want to leave the club to win trophies so why on hell would sneyder, benzema, eto, or any top player would fill that arsenal is the club to be? Man united, man city and chelsea has more money and their salary cap is much better than us still could not get sneider. Most of “us” like to complain wich is easier to do, because we did not won trophies for six years but i´m proud of wenger job and i would like to see the youngsters play every week than top players that only cares for money. Afobe could be our striker but every one wants mercenary and after words call them traitor.
My opinion of course: Sczesney,Sagna,Kos,Verm,Song (or fringpong) Wilshere, Ramsey, Gervinho, walcott and Van persie its a very good team and gives me joy to watch and i know they will fight to end for Arsenal and subs: Miquel, Jenk, Rosicki, Myachi,Afobe, campbell, Fab and you still have others. An arsenal team with players that really wants to play for us.
