In the news today:
French newspaper, L’Equipe are reporting that Manchester United’s left-back, Patrice Evra, is encouraging Samir Nasri to join him at the Champions.
Nasri has just one year left on his contract and it is thought that if he cannot reach an agreement on an extension this summer, he will be sold to avoid losing him for free next summer.
Evra said to L’Equipe: “If Samir comes, he has to know there is no room for mistakes. Each year you are playing to win. That is Manchester United’s culture.
“I have been at Manchester United for five years and I can’t remember how many trophies I have won … 13? 15?. So ‘Petit Prince’, if you want to be King, you know where you have to go.”
